Scouts (10½-14)

Scouts (10½-14)

Continuing the adventure, our Scout sections are our third sections for Young People aged 10½-14 years.

We build and develop young people’s confidence, sense of adventure and skills, as well as encouraging them to explore their beliefs and attitudes to the world in which we live. It offers them the independence to put these skills into practice at camps, trips away and in everyday life.

More information, including details of badges and awards, and their position on uniform, can be found here.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
