About Us

As a group we were established in the early 1950’s. As, of now, we are a thriving scout group with over 200+ young people enjoying the fun and adventure that Scouting brings.

Our sections meet on various nights of the week at our headquarters building in Framwellgate Moor offering young people from Framwellgate Moor, Pity Me, Newton Hall, Aykley Heads and surrounding areas the opportunities to build confidence and self-esteem, learn important life and leadership skills, team building, outdoor adventure, and have lots of fun!

We are also currently supporting Sacriston Scouts as they begin to build their new Group – to offer young people there the opportunities Scouting can bring.
