More about John Little

What I do: I am the 1st Framwellgate Moor Scout Leader so have responsibilty for over seeing the Scout's program - the other Scout leaders are responsible for delivering individual aspects of the program. I look after this website (along with a few others) I am also the Durham Scouts County Canoeing advisor What I do outside Scouting: Working as a statistician at Durham University I enjoy canoeing and am a L3 canoe and kayak instructor. I also enjoy walking and have my summer Mountain Leader award I am an active member of The Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Resuce Team - with particular responsibility for water training and IT Why I do Scouting: I enjoy passing on my scouting skills and encouraging young people to develop through adventure When I started: I started helping my local Beaver Colony many years ago. After that I was a Cub leader for a couple of years, I then completed a stint with 9th Durham Scouts, and a further session as a Cub leader before joining Fram as Scout leader in 2009.
