FACILITIES

The Group is based at our HQ in Framwellgate Moor, which is owned and operated by the group trustees on behalf of the group.

Our HQ comprises of;

A large garden to the front of the building with a grassed area and a smaller garden to the rear of the building. A new fence has been installed around the rear of the building and new gates to the garden which has improved security and will allow for a much greater use of these areas.

Main Hall which is used for the bulk of our Beaver, Cub and Scout meetings that are indoors based.

Adjoining the main hall is a small kitchen with serving hatch through to main hall. We also have to separate toilet rooms, and a meeting/project room where Beavers, Cubs and Scouts can carry out skills based activities. Finally we have small entrance hall and a general stores area.

The main hall was refirbished a repainted during the winter of 2009/10 and now looks much brighter and more cheerful.
The main toilet has also recently been fully refirbished to the standard expected from a community building.
