CUB BADGES

Cubs can gain a wide range of badges and awards. We try and work towards a new challenge badge and a new activity badge each term.

Staged Activity Badges

There are 6 staged badges starting with:
Emergency Aid 1, 2 and 3, Hikes Away 1, 5, 10 and 20, Information Technology 1, 2 and 3 Musician 1, 2 and 3, Nights Away 1, 5, 10 and 20, and Swimmer 1, 2, 3 and 4. These badges can be completed throughout Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

Cub Activity Badges

	There are lots of badges you can get as a Cub Scout. You will do some of them with the rest of the Cub Pack during meetings or at camp. But you can also complete them at home or at other clubs. When you have found a badge you would like to try, print out what you need to do and either get your parents to sign to say you have completed each part badge, bring your work into the Pack meeting to show the Leaders, or ask a leader what you need to do to achieve the badge. Challenge badges

There are a series of Challenge badges Cubs can complete. Once completed thses badges go on the front of the Cub jumper. Challenge - Community , Challenge - Creative , Challenge - Fitness , Challenge - Global , Challenge - Outdoor , Challenge - Outdoor Plus , Challenge - Promise ,

Other Cub Badges

The Scout Membership Award - is awarded when Cubs are 'invested' into the Cub Pack
Cubs will automatically get joining in badges after every complete year in the movement.
Older Cubs may manage to complete the Chief Scout - Silver
When Beavers move onto Cubs they can gain the Moving On Award.
When Cubs move onto Scouts they can gain the Moving On Award.
